What’s the best way to research best practices of other companies that offer customer support? I know Google is an easy answer but that info is not readily available. Are there any websites that someone can suggest? I want to learn more about CSAT and NPS

One of the best ways to research best practices of other companies that offer customer support is to read customer reviews. Customers often provide detailed feedback on the kind of support they receive and the overall experience they have with the company. I recently read a great review of a customer support team that was extremely helpful and provided a great experience. This gave me valuable insight into what kind of customer service practices are successful. Additionally, you can also look at industry blogs and articles for more tips and ideas.

Research each method. Read the info on why they were created, how they work, what they address that others don't, and for sure read the pitfalls of each. This will help you understand how to establish and interpret these metrics. Also, remember that these metrics can be gamed intentionally or unintentionally. You can refer to this blog https://www.proprofssurvey.com/blog/csat-ces-nps-compared/ for detailed information on each metric. Hope it helps. Thanks!

What does it mean if there’s a NEP at the firm who’s been there for a long time (20+ years), but never got promoted to EP? Never held leadership roles too. Does it usually mean EPs does not like the NEP enough to get promoted?

The NEP has a book of business, though no idea how much it brings in.
