What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

My experience has been very good.
I've not worked with a more pleasant and supportive group of consultants.
There were some struggles a few years back post-merger, but senior leadership has invested A LOT in building a strong, supportive culture.
That's good to hear. I was about to post that I'd heard it was pretty bad post-merger but it sounds like that issue has been noted and addressed. Good.
Are there sectors where Strategy& Deals compete better with MBB than other sectors? If so, which ones?
How are the usual working hours? 9-9 weekdays, weekends off?
Thanks for your reply, really helpful.
I think as consulting goes our culture is very friendly and quite chill. I have friends who were at MBB and PE, and they say the culture is very cut throat. In my 5 years at S& I’d say that is not the case here which is nice. We have the up or out model so people are still very driven. Downside is the “industry cluster” alignment of you don’t want to specialise and the brand is still somewhat confused externally. I know it isn’t related to your Q but Manager pay is very good in my opinion.

I think your “Manager” grade is slightly shifted down the timeline to ours, unless this diagram is wrong
