What’s the toughest aspect of being a PMM that no one talks about?

Going Roatán like I forgot how to travel.
• Alarm goes off at 5:15, wake up at 7:45
• Forgot headphones
• Forgot charger
• Checking bag and it’s 100% self serve (but I don’t work here)
• Cant check laptop because of battery and it won’t fit it scuba gear bag… that’s why I have 2 hands (coffee and random laptop)
• Negative Covid test, check, but it’s 20 min outside the 72 hour window based on who knows what time they chose and didn’t mention (don’t worry, they’ll just give me another one haha) 😅

Someone I’ve started seeing uses they/them pronouns. I’m trying my best but still feel like I make mistakes. When I want to address them is it ok to say how are you or should I say how are they?

My boss assigns projects with unclear expectations and provides no guidance on how to achieve them.

I've asked for help, and, to avoid a long post, she expects me to figure it out. Perhaps you go through this too, but when I don't have a clear guide on completing big projects, it paralyzes me because I don't know where to start. On top of that, I have anxiety, so "it has to be perfect".

How do you approach projects when your boss plays the "guess what's in my head" game?

Does company ask scheduled interview mail etc when we want to resign and said that i am getting an offer (which is just a word).
How can anyone handle this situation? please reply

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. What are expected salary ranges for an L5 or L6? Lots of data for Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers, but I'm assuming "Specialist " is a step below management

Who does the Director of Product Marketing typically report to (besides the CEO in tiny startups) ? VP of Marketing? I can't imagine it would be housed under Product/Engineering...

What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? Or can I actually find a senior PMM role that allows a bit more room to breathe?
