Whats your company's 401k match? I just got a job offer for a company that offers 12% in southern US... I thought that was crazy, I never heard of one that high.

10% match here. I think they do a small lump sum once a year too because it's always a little more than I expect...

like

6% match with an additional 3% discretionary lump sum.

like

That’s amazing! What a great perk. Mine is 100% match to 3% and 50% match for the next 3%. So 4.5% from the company to my 6%.

That’s really high! Ours does 3% + another 3% based on company performance.

Ours is 7% yeah 12 is amazing

Might move from agency to a premium car brand. New position is contract, not W2. Currently making 64k , bonus, 401k, health insurance, 15 days PTO. What $$ ask would be reasonable to recoup benefits?

Folks making more than £100K: How do you deal with the 60% effective tax rate on the 100-125K bracket? (HMRC gradually reduces your £12,750 personal tax-free allowance to £0.)

This is the first time it is happening to me. With one month to go until the end of the tax year, I'm thinking of making a one-off extra pension contribution next payroll.

Any other effective strategies with only one month to go?
