Rising Star
My personal list of nicest hotels I’ve stayed in is probably Residence Inn & Suites, Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn Express, Drury Inn
St Regis >>> JW Marriott
100%. Honestly think St Regis is better than the Ritz too. W is nice but not everyone’s cup of tea
Aman Resorts and Peninsula.
Jumeirah - mostly in Middle East, but they have raised the benchmark insanely high
These are “middle class fancy” chains. Real luxury properties include Aman, Lanhgams and the like
I find that — despite brand standards — this varies location to location. For example, at many domestic locations I’ve been to, St Regis > Ritz.
Yes I know. OP didn’t mention SR, and it’s a good example where sometimes a Ritz is nicer or sometimes a SR is better depending on location.
Mandarin, Shangri-La, Peninsula
Jw Marriott is the worst. I avoid all of them now.
The edition is fun!
