Potentially useful in certain circumstances but shouldn't be part of a standard investment portfolio.

Oh, OK. So not even that it is the best option for any use case, just a viable but not optimal option.

I guess that is true.

Avoid them. You want higher risk investing, all S&P 500, when you're young because you have a long time for it to grow.

Useful for private placements or downside buffers in RILAs but most of the time no

Hahahaha.

I did it with my emergency money when I started saving with the first like 50k. It was f&f and they would let me take my money out at any point. So essentially a hysa earning 5%.

Don’t do it

Got an offer from pwc in the data privacy role.
With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Please help me decide. Yoe -3.5

I read this super interesting article about how big companies like Toyota are investing in social-emotional training for their employees and seeing massive benefits. I actually think this could be a whole separate class for students of all ages. Learning about conflict resolution, growing your own self-regulation skills...it's really important.

Why don’t recruiters tell you upfront about the role they contacted you about? I had a message from a recruiter yesterday from a recruiter about a copywriter role she’s working on...

All these weddings are blowing my mind and budget. I've had 5 weddings so far this year with several more to go by EoY. On top of that I've been asked to be in a lot of them which adds additional time commitment and cost. The cost of a bachelor party + shitty men's warehouse suit rental + travel and airbnb for the weekend + couple hundred bucks for wedding gift means I'm blowing tons of money for these weddings but I feel bad to say no.
