When I started my career, opening a complex Excel workbook used to make me break out in a sweat. These days, I actually look forward to diving into large datasets and tackling tricky formulas. It’s funny how the things that once scared us can become our biggest strengths.

I interviewed for KPMG on 11/15 for a Senior role and the HR emailed me on 11/16 that everyone liked me but they think I should be hired as an Experienced Associate. I had a call with the HR on 11/17 wherein we discussed about my salary expectations and the HR said he will get back in a day. It’s been more than 10 days and multiple follow ups but still no response. I don’t think I was rude while talking to the HR, I just told my current salary and asked for min. that no. Did i miss the chance ?

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I have switched from 12 LPA to 26 LPA on feb 2022 as my first switch with IC role as ETL developer . Now looking for data architect role. Hi Group, seems like it should be basic format, but I just can not get it to work. a list of data and want to alternate shade (blue,white,blue,etc) each line but if I have multiple lines I want to group together and they all shade the same. I want to group by the same data in column A, and the number of rows that are the same could vary. So let’s say row 1& 2 same entry in column A(blue) row 3 different (white) row 4,5,6 same as each other different to other rows (blue) etc… help 🙏

Is there an easy way to switch XLOOKUPS to INDEX MATCH? Have a large file with bunch of formulas that don't work on all client machines (different excel versions).

What are some common reasons that a COUNTIF formula might not be working correctly? I'm using the correct range and value to count. I'm not seeing "ERROR" but the values aren't correct (it's not counting everything). Thx.
