When interviewing 1Ls for 2L jobs, what should they respond if asked about their 1L jobs? A mentee of mine just said they continuously receive mixed responses. For context, they have a small firm offer for 1L but want to do BigLaw and are recruiting for BigLaw for 2L. Should they be honest and state where they expect to be working for their 1L summer or state they are still in the process of confirming, etc.?

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

YoE 12.5, cctc 10.5 and holding offers till 23.5 fixed and few more in pipeline, expecting till 27 with 40 days left in np. How much can I ask for a senior manager level in PWC AC Bangalore and how difficult is the work and transition from pure technical to managerial role? There’s a practice group that I’ve been trying to find work in but whenever I volunteer to help, I always get roped in to do non billable work. In the beginning it was fine but now I’m feeling it’s never going to amount to actual work. Any tips to get more involved without all the non billables and how to approach this gently?

4th year financial services associate - have an offer for a 9-5 knowledge management role at a competing firm for 94% of my current base salary.
