I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

Reserve the discussions about compensation after the interviews. If they press for it tell them you aren’t comfortable to disclose that yet without meeting with the team and learning about the role
Tell HR
Don’t waste your time and theirs. Tell HR your salary requirements up front and if they can’t meet that for the role, then it’s not for you. It’s ok to give them a range. If you don’t say anything until after the interviews and you are too high for them, you will only be disappointed.
