Its not driven by your income.
Its driven by how sophisticated your deductions and credits situation becomes.
💯
Get a CPA when your finances have tax complexity, beyond the standard, eg self employed, own rental properties, day trader, Etc.
It’s not a factor if your income until you make so much the rules change
Idk.. My networth is about 600 and I am self employed making about 160k, i have stocks and real estate… I still use TurboTax 🤷♀️ I had help setting it up a few years back and I pay for the extra help. I don’t have many loop holes though I can use lol
I get that but a CPA isn’t going to do much more then my quickbooks and TurboTax. I tried that route and it cost me more with their fees. After years of doing this you learn the tax codes yourself.
My point was more, it’s not about how much you make or whatever if you need a CPA, it’s how complex things are if you are just starting out. But once you learn TurboTax is fine
TurboTax is sufficient for most people.
