Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

Not always. Sometimes they want confirmation from the decision makers (e.g. team) to make sure with what they are going with, whether that be a rejection or an acceptance.
Welp, keep applying for other roles 😊
No. They mean exactly what they said.
Required background screening for promotions and new hires.
Sounds much better than most of my responses last year! Seriously though any time a business gives you a timeline it is never a bad thing. This means they are not into wasting your time and they may be adding you into their systems or doing last minute background checks. Stay positive!

Typically after a phone screen, we have to put together notes from the conversation and submit the candidate to the hiring team to see if they are interested in you. Sometimes that is quick and sometimes it isn't.

Metrics vary by company; I have worked at companies where we had a phone screen quota or an overall of # of hires per month but that obviously requires a lot of initial phone screens to get to the offer point.
Yep.
It sounds like you are a top applicant and they are preparing an offer. If they were going to reject you I don’t think they would be so specific as to when you would hear back from them.
I used to think giving timeline is good. However, per interview experience, they will say: “ sorry,we decided not to move forward with you this time.”
