I can relate to that. Just because stuff is getting done, doesn’t mean it is the best way possible to do it. This year I’m not really sure what my goals are to be honest. Kind of just staying flexible and seeing what happens. We do have some meetings coming up too so that will probably help me focus.
I get that and I am on the same boat but where I work at I don’t feel like I’m given time or the space to even begin to hone into process improvements that could be beneficial to everyone not just on my team. Do you have the time bandwidth to do so?
I think I definitely need to get better at delegating. I'm newly promoted to this role and I'm supposed to be delegating some tasks but I just end up doing most stuff on my own and I really need to stop doing that
This a great goal. I end up doing quite a bit that others should be contributing to the team. My manager put me on a project this year that is literally herding the cats and taking notes which will be a real challenge for me, but will also be a good exercise.
