I got notice everything at the new firm is good to go. Now to give notice. I’m dreading it. I really really like my boss but this opportunity is too good to pass up. How do you even start? I’ve been in this role 8 years. How to give notice?? Yikes! I’m giving about 2 1/2 weeks notice. 10/17 start date. Any help is appreciated!!!

Just offered a new closing role at a smaller company. 60k base 120 OTE after 90 days that’s goes up to 75 base 150 OTE. Debating leaving the company I’m at. Currently in an SDR role at a much larger company 60 base 100 OTE but there’s a guaranteed stock plan. New company serves the banking industry

I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

Or should i go and work as an Analyst first and then look for an opportunity at more adv role?

I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.

Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Received an offer today from Twilio for a L3 program manager (non tech) for 125 base, 60k equity, and a 15k sign on (essentially 140k TC). I currently make more than this and have offers higher than this on the table. Anyone have insight on how much I can counter?

How many firms is too many? I’ve practiced 13 years. Since I was a 1st year associate, every 3 years or so I’ve been recruited for another opportunity that is hard to pass up. I’ve been at my current firm 3 years and got the call again, again about an opportunity that is hard to pass up. I don’t like having a reputation of a flight risk, but this keeps happening. Should I decline to pursue the opportunity just so I have a longer track record at my current firm? This will be my 4th if I move.
