I have received offer from sales force as a analyst planning(same as current profile) , the package is 200%more than what i have now but its a contract job. Is the work culture at Salesforce banglore good even for contract workers. How is the pressure and risk? are contract employees treated well too?

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

L5 is a people manager position typically post MBA or post grad school. It’s a great position and considered “terminal” at Google in the sense that you can stay there as an individual contributor or people manager without being coached out. To get to L6 from L5 is where the work starts. L6 is Senior Manager equivalent.
Not nearly as rigorously as Netflix, FB, or Amazon. For this role, it’s terminal so there’s no pressure to advance as long as you’re meeting expectations but an L3 stuck for more than 4 years would prompt a tough conversation.
Can confirm this. It's a great manager level role and that's where the pivot happens from ic to management. L6 is Director/SM equivalent.
It is possible that L5 is an individual contributor role and not a manager. Depends on the team, but if managing is something you want straight away it's worth checking with the recruiter
Would love to hear how you landed the job... I'm a M at S&O EY hoping to make it to L4/L5 at Google. L5 would be s great transition from SC for sure.
I haven't even started interviewing yet. A recruiter from Google reached out in LinkedIn and see just had a prelim discussion. Will talk to her again on Monday but want to better understand the role before hand
I am L5 individual contributor and can confirm my official StratOps title in official HR systems is Associate Manager. L8 is Director title at Google.
EY1: as a manager, you should be able to get L6 (unless you just got promoted). I know several ex consulting Ms who got L6
