JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Different sources have different ratings. Just look up as many as you can and make as good as a decision as you can.

Niche and greatschools are fine but take specific places in the rankings with a grain of salt. For example there may not be huge differences in the top 20 (especially non magnet). They may also index on things you might not care as much about (eg. Do you want your kid to have a good high school sports scene, or be around diverse classmates, or just get into the best possible college etc).
Also, keep in mind that the absolute best schools have issues of their own. For example, in my state, the top ranked school makes it hyper competitive to even get into AP classes, is notorious for grade deflation because it’s so hard etc. Sends tons of kids to ivies, but also pretty mercilessly leaves other kids behind. I’ve heard they place them on different tracks as early as middle school.
Even if that’s what you want to subject your kid to, consider that they may have better outcomes from a more chill school where they can stand out.
