AFS valued mine much higher than D did. Went from 64k to 135k with 2 years experience.
It should help. Just TS has with tech skills (DevOps, cloud) is bring in offers around 100-120k
Edit: I’m a C sitting at 78k...
GDIT, Leidos, SAIC, Praxis, small subs. If you are technical and cleared. Get that cheddar.

D is the worst. AFS always pops up as good. Booz cares about cyber and tech skills above all, a clearance just sort of super sizes you.

Booz pays a lot more than has sunk in on this app for tech talent.
Not KPMG. Everyone has had issues with their clearances after leaving...

None. Consulting isn’t really in the IC like that unless you are HC or Accting.

MC1 exactly! It’s disrespectful.
Insider tip: lots of consultants with IC level (poly) clearance are leaving the sector (going to other sector, or just going to another contractor with better IC projects) because D doesn't win many IC contracts. D isn't big in the IC, per former SM in IC, D isn't known as well. I'm formerly IC, and the contracts D has were won long ago (think 10 years) and no new ones are won.

This isn’t an insider tip. This is common daylight knowledge lol. There are few opportunities and you get paid more outside of Big 4 & D for poly. You don’t even get paid more for having a poly which is like a cavity check.
