The real question is which firms don't hold firm initiatives as a core component of your year end rating. Thats where I find Deloitte to be different
We do. It's a huge component of both year end and promotions. But, it's not about just doing them. It's about the impact they have. You do RFPs until you turn blue, nobody cares it's expected. But if your on 15 pursuits as an SC, and some win. That's huge. Similar if all you did was take meeting notes for something it's worthless, but if you led an initiative that created assets or new training, those are meaningful. Also stuff like university recruiting and such.
How about Deloitte ?

Ive been there. Something just like this...
In a call with a KPMG recruiter, I was told they don't make you do those things (but I don't work there and can't confirm). But I actually like some of those initiatives because it gives me a chance to develop and grow other ways that can progress my career.
