Out of curiosity, if I had a secret clearance but left my previous firm and my new firm does not do any form of public consulting therefore does not utilize my secret clearance, and I am planning to travel abroad; who do I notify? A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
