How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?

When is the progesterone oil shot suppose to cause pain? I injected my wife 15 min ago in the upper outer quadrant and she feels fine.

One of my out of state REs is suggesting that birth control for three weeks before having starting a cycle. I consulted with another RE previously and he noted that he doesn’t recommend birth control for too long when planning an ivf cycle since it can impact response to fertility medication. Does this sound right ?

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?

For those who have researched these things at length / spoken to doctors: if I’ve had children in the past and have had a chemical pregnancy recently, is there any point to sending my husband for a sperm analysis? E.g., his swimmers hypothetically must be at least kind of working?

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. Had a miscarriage.. it’s my 1st baby and we didn’t find out until 12 weeks (via ultrasound) that the baby passed away at 9 weeks and had to get a dnc. My body is still recovering.. Just want some hope or I guess stories of success after having a miscarriage. I do have pcos so it’s harder for me to get pregnant.. but it still happened. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Does it get better..?

First round of Provera and Letrozole complete but I’ve been spotting/bleeding for 11 days after taking the Provera to kick start a cycle. Would love to hear others’ experiences with these pills!
