Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture

Theoretically yes. Each month of trying naturally gives you ~15-20% chance of success assuming no fertility issues. With IVF, if you have a good quality genetically normal embryo, chance of success are closer to 70%. But as MC1 said, no guarantees. I’ve had 4 of those embryos fail.
Pregnancy is hard to plan in general. As clearly some of us have been facing unexplained infertility for years and all the planning in the world couldn't have helped. But if you know you dont have fertility issues, it is possible to time pregnancy via ivf. Just have to remember that ivf isn't foolproof either and could fail. Alternatively, I have friends who had planned to get pregnant and have gotten pregnant naturally within 2 months of their planned time line. So that's always possible too.
