While I completed the interview rounds with Google last week and am waiting to hear back, I’m also advancing to the final round with Microsoft. Microsoft is known for their quick processes to hire. However, Google is still my top choice so should I email their recruiter for an update and also mention that I’m currently in the final stage with MS?

I've worked on many greenfield projects for clients and more mature projects, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't be a good candidate. The funny thing is when you look at the bios for some of these founders and see just how inexperienced many of them are. One's bio was basically the list of clubs he belonged to in college.

I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?

I'll switch to a startup as the only data engineer and will closely work with all the Head ofs + the CTO.

So I work for a small company as a SEM/Director… which in my world just means I am really Lead Developer, Part BA and part product owner as well as reviewing the devs. I came up in this company starting at about SE3 of 5 so the position is just kind of what I made it. I have recently been getting interest from some larger companies like Amazon. Long preamble to ask, what are the day to day responsibilities/expectations of an SEM at a FAANG?
