I put my parents.

like

Parents, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews

If you have significant assets/life insurance, you can set up a trust to support a cause.

If I didn't have kids, I don't know that I would give my money to anyone in my family. I would probably think about what cause I wanted to support and figure out a couple of charities to give the assets to.

You can’t put kids as beneficiaries unless you have them. 🤦🏼‍♀️

funny

I meant that it's not a temp situation. I didn't say I don't have kids, I said I don't want to have kids.

I’m (early30s) about 8 months into a relationship with a 40m. Things are wonderful in every aspect, but he is absolutely atrocious with his finances. I felt it becoming an issue about two months ago. He forgets about auto payments and just generally doesn’t care. I sat down with him and looked at everything and even after talking it out he still continues to stress and it’s now causing me stress. I had a final discussion with him today about it and he went on abt how love isn’t enough for me…

Has anyone been through a situation that you were in a terrible relationship ( stress, anger, fights, swears, physical abuse, ego clashes) and how did you resolve it? Some might have worked on and stayed in the relationship and some might have broken up. I am looking for answers from both sides. How did you stay/work on it and how did you break up and move on? Me and my partner have strong feelings for eachother and are almost inseparable despite going through so much.

I have an estranged relationship with my sister. I haven’t had a relationship with her in 13+ years, and haven’t even seen her in about 5 years. We had a really bad falling out and I never really carried for her as a person. But for some reason I feel an immense guilt for not wanting a relationship, simply because of this convoluted idea of family and sticking together no matter what. Anyone else have this issue? How do I go about making peace with someone I don’t want nothing to do with?

At a career crossroads. Post MBA, probably will make Manager in next year or two. Can go back to industry in a local office leadership role with a pay bump OR stay on path to Manager. Industry role could potentially turn into something bigger down the road (regional or potentially executive leadership). Or I stay in consulting and the work I’m doing is project management. Not the “consulting” I signed up for.
