As a result of #metoo, it was revealed that now a lot of male supervisors and councillors are refusing to train/guide their female juniors. Most of them don't want the hassle of being accused of sexual harassment.
What are your thoughts on this?

Car is depreciating asset... Dont invest much...
Even you can go with that Car , bug go with base model and modefg it from outside (only if want).
I would suggest to go with 10-12L car... 16 +is very high hudget even if you have savings

In my opinion, go with a second hand car.
Reasoning: The government is experimenting a lot with hybrid, electric, hydrogen fuel, flex-fuel vehicles etc. Buying a petrol/diesel fuel vehicle at this moment and time where its still undecided which fuel is gonna take off might not be a great decision.

Lower your budget. But if you have past savings go for it
Yes I have been saving some amount of money specifically for the car and have other savings too. I can pay like 30-40% as a down payment from my car buying basket.
So is it fine to go ahead with a 16 lakh budget?
Go for it... Dude seems no additional responsibilitie so thats ok...All the best and have fun...
I think you can lower your budget. As you are single now so I think any car with lesser price is also fine. Whatever money is left just invest it. Obviously final call is yours. All the best! Be happy
