Very excited. I really needed Survivor these past several weeks to help replace sports. Also, Tony is one of my top five favorite Survivor players of all time.
Agree, it’s a great way to disengage from the tragedy unfolding around us, if only for an hour a week. Too bad they don’t know when they’ll film the next season due to COVID. Unlikely to have a fall season at this point.
Tony deserves to win but I think he's too big of a threat to last
Definently agree. Maybe I'm giving the other players too much credit. Ben seems like he won't turn on Tony no matter what and Sarah seems pretty similar

-Tony’s definitely been a power player this season, but his showmanship may get him snuffed before final tribal. He does have a Hidden Immunity Idol though I believe (usually good thru final 5).
-Sarah has been more under the radar and she hasn’t pissed anyone off. She was also seen as a huge target before the game based on pre-game interviews, so people may be impressed she made it so far.
-Ben has kind of been a joke this season, flubbing his way to the end. He still has a Hidden Immunity Idol but he may be the proverbial goat this season (take him to end because he’ll never win).
-Michelle is an underdog, facing backlash that she didn’t deserve to win Koah Rong. Her lover scorned edit and resourcefulness make her kind of like a Parvati 2.0. She’s a dark horse.
-Denise has played very well, slaying the Queen and not ruffling many feathers. She’s emotionally savvy and wore safety several times, but she’s not as showy or flashy as some jurors may think the Winner’s game deserves.
-Wildcard - Extinction Island. No spoilers here but Natalie has the most going for her. If she came back, and had an idol (like Chris in S38), she could sneak into the end. Since she spent so much time at EI and the other jurors see her (or whoever returns) as representing them, they’re inclined to vote for that person as a way to validate their own games. It’s tricky but that’s the way the jury voted last time as well. Game has also been seeking a female winner for a few years now so it’s timely (last one was Sarah in S34).
-Last Thoughts - good season and really any of the final 5 but Ben winning would be satisfying. Let’s just hope it’s not someone random (like Adam or Nick) that makes the on-screen narrative arc basically a waste of time. Hope you all have enjoyed as much as my family and I have!
