I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"
Is it a good idea to join Hitachi Vantara ? How's the work culture and benefits at the organisation?
I have an offer of 25.8 L (fix+variable) for 7YEO, Brand Marketing profile.

@OP non transparency of salaries is a tool that management uses to keep wages down - by having clear transparency by level and function - wage discrepancies are erased and therefore issues like wage gaps based on gender and race are eliminated.

OP I'd like to hear your response to all the comments here that I up voted. Did you really just miss the point entirely and now you get it? If so, you are forgiven.
It's good to know your market value but in reality it is not directly correlated to what others make. Unless you have an offer in hand, it won't help you to know that someone makes x% more than you.
We need more transparency in the industry. That is all. We are on the same boat, people!!
We do if we're the same level with the same experience...sometimes ppl don't know what they're worth, and when they find out they've screwed themselves, they'll get the salary they deserve somewhere else.
Very useful information to determine who picks up the check at dinner with friends.

@D3 - I'm Gen X. Transparency in salaries creates a sense of entitlement that millennials have grown accustomed. Just because someone else earns $X doesn't mean you deserve the same.
@A2 Are you suggesting we move towards communism? Everyone works and gets paid the same.
