Why is it that banking has a much broader range of firms than consulting? Seems like there are over 10 solid firms with great exit ops but in consulting people only case about mbb?

I get $3200 in rent for a condo that I have $3600 monthly costs on (mortgage, property taxes, HOA fees). Although I put in $400, I make about $1400 a month in equity (15 year mortgage). Property is worth about $470k and I have $200k in equity. Make sense to keep or sell?

Why are the firms like UBS that are building internal consulting practices putting them in the back office (and paying accordingly)? If you're replacing external consultants who are being paid $2k/day, you have plenty of cushion to at least pay the salaries we would get externally, if not more.
