If you have courage raise it to your manager or concerned HR. We can't help you here. If you don't like it, leave it. We have 100s in line
I shared my perspective. 15000 can share theirs. I am not stopping them.I worked at Wipro. I raised it to HR during my tenure . People don't have courage to raise it to right person
12 years exp and 95 aud? Doesn't sound good. I am leaving for sydney with 4 years exp and 110k incl super. For your experience it should be around 150k to 180k.
Onsite compensation are low in these companies. If you both re working and your wife cannot work in other countries, it would not make much sense
Coach
Good luck managing in Sydney with 95k AUD
Rents, cost of living is almost unreachable at that salary if you are going with family.
Mentor
Atleast
$300-$500 for rent
$40-$50 for transport
$60-$100 for food
$20-$40 for gym
$30-$80 for entertainment/shopping
This is for per week. Multiply by 4 for 1 month. You should be earning that much (after tax) atleast for bare minimum (non-homeless, decent life).
You can always find homes where in 2bhk 6 people are living in sharing for $150-$200, eat cheap and save money, but do you really want to live like that after leaving a good life here?
Onsite compensation never gets updated over time it seems, but you can always negotiate this amount. whatever is written on your deputation is final which you will get after reaching there. In my case when I reached HR, she told me to take it or leave it ! Last try I did by talking to the skip level manager before dropping the plan of Travel, After a lot of negotiations I got a 50% increase on compensation which I was requesting. Make sure you sort out things before traveling.
Either stay in india and look for high paying product companies. Or you can go Sydney then switch asap and get better salary.
Onsite salaries are low, which is the reason I passed that opportunity twice.
If you are really interested, just go and make a switch there in case you have an open work permit.
My main intention posting querry was to check with experts if the amount defined in Deputation letter is final or its just a minimul amout or for reference amount . I was in Infosys and there the onsite was based on your India CTC + Local onsite component defined .
As far as I know in most companies it's fixed as per the level and location.
😅 My team mate was also offered 95k AUD, 6YoE
Well, we are the people who set the rates and the team that expands business, we knew exactly what rate we had approved for that region and for that role.
Well, that helped him negotiate 😂, got to 140k
The immigration team literally cried FOWL 😂😂😂😂
