will an FRM certification help me to move from Risk assurance to risk consulting? Currently work in b4 as an a1 and would like to potentially move to advisory in the future

I have been in controller/finance group for over 10 years. Leadership have no interest in putting me on deck. I barely am at 100k. Can someone please help me on how can I grow in terms of comp?
Which area/courses should I pursue related to my field that can help me land up a job outside. Cpa/cfa is not an option for me immediately. Thanks.

I am 28 and am a Sr Mgr in strategy at a bay area consumer tech company. I feel like my comp is super inflated - TC for the next 12 months is ~$440k: ~230k cash, ~$150k equity / yr, and another $60k retention if i stay til july.

I feel like moving on will be my best chance for vertical movement to the director level and that I am not progressing my career much further, but I know I can’t make this much money elsewhere…

I have 1.5 YOE in MC and was recently contacted about an opportunity for a data analyst role in private equity. I’m pretty clueless about the space, but comp is an 85% pay raise and the work generally sounds interesting. Has anyone exited to a similar role? What’s career growth like? My goal is to go to in house for media / entertainment industry, hopefully become an executive. TIA :)

I'm up for promotion to M1 this summer. But I honestly cant stand the thought of one more busy season, and am fairly confident I can land a job in private industry in the next month. Am I crazy to leave as a S3, 6 months short of a promotion to M1, for a job as a senior accountant in private industry? Or should I try to stick it out to M1 and then bounce for an accounting manager position?

Is it still a good time to change the job? I have two doubts in mind:
1. If i resign now then notice period will be from oct to dec. And last month of notice period where candidate receives most calls will be dec and i believe thats coldest month of hiring?
2. In current organisation annual pay cycle is from april to march where we can consider 8% hike plus 8% annual bonus is due in march. So getting a 40% hike and leaving current job is worth it?

I recently stepped away from my position overseeing HR operations at a midsize company (>300 staff). After numerous executive level changes and the departure of our HR VP I was promoted to a role I didn’t particularly want. After managing through it for a year and a half I decided to step down. Does anyone have the 2020 SHRM books for sale or to borrow? My job won’t contribute towards my certification. I’ve already paid for my test. I have the books from 2015 but I’d like to study from the 2020. I tried finding them online to purchase but sellers of affordable books aren’t responding.

Last year I got an offer from tcs which I had accepted initially but did not join ultimately. I had notified the same to the recruiter over call and mail. It's been one year and I see all those details in the portal still exist and hence I am not able to apply the same. Can anyone tell when they will delete the old application.
