2 weeks for non primary to help the mom out when she first gets back. But then when the mother goes back to work we get 16 weeks correct?

like

I enjoyed our 16 weeks

like

so basically a new EY dad gets 2 weeks at birth and then another 16 weeks when the mom goes back to work?

like

No they are really happy with their new benefits. 8 weeks off and you can do 4 weeks of 60% work with 100% pay.

Maybe they will readjust in a few years

That's better than EY for non primary caregivers. Non primary only hey 2 weeks off at EY.

Is this all for first time parents or for each kid?

Each child.

Correct, if you have a mom that works (or goes to school, or does something that causes them to not be the primary caregiver).

EY1, so basically every employee but those with stay at home wives (ie only EDs) get 16

Unfortunately I doubt we PwC will ever catch up to the other firms. They’re too proud of what they already have. Without comparing, it’s pretty good

14 weeks for a total of 16, I think.

I think it’s 16 total, so 14 when mom is back to work

In my case they provided very less hike of 3% and I have done so much work.

Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?

Firms should really start lowering the mandatory retirement age in partnership agreements before these old out of touch partners drive the entire industry into the ground. These people legitimately think the high turnover we’re experiencing is caused by remote work and people “not feeling close” rather than insane hours and compensation 🤦🏼‍♀️.
