I'm currently working as an electrical designer in the MEP industry. I really don't like it and I'm working towards a career change which I'm actively applying for and getting certified etc. However, it's been a slow process and I'm currently underpaid where I am so would it be wise to make a lateral move to another MEP firm simply because they offer me more money while I still look for a different job separate from this field? Or just tough it out?

I have a set of virtual interviews that last from 9-5 with 8 different people. Why does that seem a little excessive to me? I understand that they want to make sure many people across different departments approve of me but it still seems like a lot.

The same thing happened with me yesterday for coinswitch data engineer profile. Solved all the questions and actually gave some suggestions also , but today got rejection mail.😂😂

I am getting an offer from Nagarro as associate staff engineer.

My current CTC is 20,
Nagarro offering 27 max and 3lakh joining bonus.
Tech stack and yoe: AWS + NodeJS and 6.4 yoe

Intiatially they told they are considering me for staff engineer role but after interview they are offering associate staff engineer. Is it worth to join?

What is the minimum yoe required for associate staff engineer and staff engineer roles?

My YOE is 5.5 and I got offer from capgimini of 14 lpa and the joining date is 19 sept..they are ready to give me 17 lpa if i join early on 5 sept...should i early join or wait for other interviews as currently having only one offer letter.

I need your immediate help for Barclays, i am in the middle of the interview process for Barclays Pune/Mumbai, I have heard that they do check Credit Report for all roles as a part of their Pre employment screening (May be stage 1).
Is that correct?
Can someone please check their Background screening report and confirm?

Hi all! I work at a nonprofit and am looking to leave the organization. As I browse available positions in my area, I’m realizing there is a LOT of crossover between my current org and others, for example shared board members, folks who are on our board and employed at one of the institutions I’m interested in, etc.. Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?
