London comp: I’m looking to move from one of the few fund of funds outside of London and looking at associate roles in VC fund of funds + co-investment or PE secondaries/buyout. Hi all 🙂👋🏻 Apologies for such a late post. I have an offer of 18 CTC(1L joining bonus) from Larsen & Toubro Infotech & 12.5 fixed from IBM .
My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . I gave a coding test on a potal with hr monitoring , but the portal had lots of issues , I couldnt do a Sysout to check the values , I couldn't run my testcases , in the end I had to use my own environment and make things work in last 5-10 mins.I received a rejection from their process for 1 year now.I have requested the recruiter for a re-test with a technical engineer present if same issue arises but I doubt they will accept it , what could I do next ? Don't wna miss out on this one
