Interviewing for a Lead FIU Analyst position with Silicon Valley Bank. Looking for some insight regarding the culture and trajectory of the company. Additionally, would anyone happen to have the pay range for this role. I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

I think if you committed to you CPA studying then it should be fine. I saw a lot staff passed while working, I’m not the smart type so it took me 4 years to pass. I started studying after my full time and busy as a staff-senior and FINALLY It done !

No harm in looking I guess, but seems like a lot of effort to go through a job search process for a position you hope to hold for ~7 months.
CONT... I do need a full-time job with benefits for if I were to get
sick in between now and September and also for financial needs. My current job is not what it was described to me as, and the work life balance is not the greatest. Again, I know it is not going to be better in PA but I would love to be able to work on the CPA Exam in between now and September.
Personally speaking try a part time job or a very easy FT job Bc once u start PA it’s almost impossible getting your CPA.
Yeah unless there’s something in your contract that says you need to tell them
I passed two sections before starting in PA, while working a lower stress full time job, and then passed the last two my first six months in PA with an infant. If you have good study habits, and especially if you don’t have small children or other pressing obligations, it is doable. Also, it does take some time to get your workload established as an incoming staff, so it is definitely worth taking advantage of having some extra time to study while you aren’t constantly swamped.
