Not asking for a friend 😂
Letting HR know about it has nothing to do with the “era of Me Too”. You should tell HR for independence issues both to your clients and internally
Yes - I feel like it happens all the time
Yeah, people generally go undercover until things get pretty serious. When you two are actually in a relationship, let HR know.
What on earth does the Era of me too even mean. Me too means creeps don't get to get away with being creeps anymore. Are you a creep? No? Then life continues on as normal.
In audit- yes, if they weren’t on my team/client. In tax- absolutely hell nah, there’s no escape.
Date or tap? 😄
Sure, but always pull out
What does an “actual relationship” mean? If you are friends with benefits and at different levels - people team needs to know. If you have gone on a date - HR doesn’t need to know. A couple of dates - HR needs to know
Done it. If it’s not too serious let your managers know. Once you are on a more serious track (however you define that) let HR know.
Different level creates issues - People Team needs to know ASAP - definitely can be managed
Do it. Nothing taboo about it, just make sure you let HR know in the era of MeToo.
Same level - no issue and very common in the industry
Why does anyone need to know yet? Don’t even know if feelings are reciprocated yet.
So different level raises more issues? But can be managed right?
But still same as what EY1 said? Inform when there’s an actual relationship?
I'd inform earlier of "it's serious" or "we're on the same audit team"
Senior associate 2 - agree but it feels so good not to

Lol. Do as I say, not as I do...
