No. I don’t know what a 1-1 coach would teach you that all the great online study tools don’t have. They could potentially help with study habits but that’s different
Pro
Agree with KPMG. Becker was all I needed.
I have hired a tutor for FAR. Not sure if that is what you mean. Depending on how FAR goes I will consider it for AUD and BEC.
It’s really dependent on your study habits and learning style. Although, I only used Becker — I could see how someone would prefer to have a 1:1 coach if they don’t like the pre-recorded lectures and just doing practice questions from the online study tools. Also beneficial if you want someone to answer your questions vs. emailing Becker or posting on Reddit / study websites on how to solve problems. I personally think the exams are passable by just using online study tools (i.e. Becker). I’d say give one exam a go before a 1:1 to save you money (I’m not sure if 1:1 fees would be covered by your firm)… but only you know your study habits / learning style to really know what’s best for you. Good luck OP!

While most don’t need this, I think a little coaching and extra support from a pro is almost always well with the money. A ski lesson even if you’ve skiied for years always helps technique…..
Depends on your circumstances. I’ve never heard of one-on-one coaching for this, but if it could help you, try it. Sometimes you just need a little something extra.
No bro, just hammer MCQs
Random unless there was a specific area I really struggled with.
I think random is important to make sure you can’t lock in on one type of question, forces you to pull from the entire knowledge pool.
No, everything I needed was in Becker. I don’t know what a coach would be able to do that wasn’t in the Becker lectures.
No unless you are unable to motivate/focus yourself. I had a friend in college who was incredibly smart, but couldn’t study unless he had peer pressure to do so.
It’s only worth it in extreme cases like that, otherwise just grind out Becker yourself.
Only way I would do it if it was a lesson like this:
