Your pay bump when leaving B4 should be more than $6k

Thank you

You should negotiate. Accounting jobs in industry get very small raises per year so starting salary is important. Good luck.

Thank you

I would not leave for this opportunity personally, due to really small pay bump

Thank you for share your thought

I'd only leave for 20%+ raise unless you think there is higher promotion potential (ie getting groomed for manager)

Thank you for share your thought

Are you moving from a location with higher cost of living?

No, stay in same city

Leaving because of one bad year money-wise is a bit foolhardy in my opinion. I agree with others that if you leave it should be for at least 20% bump but also- what’s the real reason you’re thinking about leaving? That’s what your new job actually needs to have.

Hi Deloitte fishes, In my offer letter, it is clearly mentioned that my bonus will be in the range of 0-10%. Is it normal in Deloitte USI? The HR told me the bonus will be in the range of 10-20% and that is normal. YOE- 5Years. Joining as a consultant.

NYC vs Chicago - considering moving out of NYC (obvious reasons :-)), though we love the city and like diversity and energy for our kids to grow up (no suburbs). Any thoughts/experience on Chicago?

I got two promotions, but personally I don’t feel like I have any ties to the city and had better luck dating but didn’t find the one yet.
