Would you recommend someone coming from a trader/wealth mgmt background to become a lawyer? I have been a wealth management associate for a while, looking to become a trader for the larger commission/salary, but I absolutely hate math and cannot imagine myself doing this for 20 + years. Studied law for a semester before switching my major to Econ because become a lawyer takes too much time. I’m in Canada. Thinking of working & studying and then I can go into securities law or wtvr. Thoughts?

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Working on a deal where buyer's side keeps on insisting on a POA to effectuate all actions of Seller under the agreement, including executing documents.
