Interesting they don’t come out until tomorrow for most people. And I think this year is he same as last 1/3 of people will get nada.
@Jeff - It’s not important who I am Jeff, it’s important who you are. For the past several years, KPMG has been developing a predictive algorithm to identify our Most Unsatisfied Employee (MUE) base. Jeff, our algorithm successfully predicted that you would be part of that cohort this year. You’re living evidence of this success. Our bigger challenge was figuring out how we’d discover independent evidence of your MUE status.
This is where the real brilliance comes in Jeff. Leveraging cognitive analytics and IBM Watson sensing technology, we have been analyzing years’ worth of the emails, instant messages and electronic communications in which you’ve been involved on behalf of the firm. Using this data Jeff, we have been able to identify your “digital voice” - you can think of this as the unique fingerprint that enables us to identify you, and thousands of other KPMG employees, as you communicate across digital space. All it took was a simple two line statement for us to know that it was you Jeff.
You can imagine that the commercialization of these capabilities will be dramatic for KPMG. In a way Jeff, you’re like Patient Zero or the first test tube baby - in the long run no one will remember your name, but the value that you’ve helped unlock for humanity is tremendous. For that Jeff, we thank you.
Here's the juicy deets...
Level: SA2
Area: NY
Year End Reviews: Doing good, just gotta keep doing what I'm doing.
This is fucking bullshit.
It just means someone worked harder than you 😊 Better luck next year!
Damn so it's not even like you were too of pay band. That's fucked bro. Sorry to hear
That's extremely underpaid... you can move and make way more OP, do it if there factors other than just money that would steer you to leave.
@M1, Strategy.
@C1, $90k base for an SA2 in NY, already underpaid...
Sorry OP but your PML isn't telling you the whole story if you really got 0 base increase or VC. This year there was an effort to reward broadly except for folks at the very bottom. Ask your comp communicator to help explain why they felt that was were you fell compared to your peers. They should be giving you concrete feedback.
Looks like we screwed you first, Jeff.
@K3 - we gave Jeff's comp to the KMPG guy from the "Wow! The first time I haven't been disappointed with my compensation discussion" thread. Just back out and scroll down, you'll find him.
@P1 - Fuck, who are you in my group? My name's actually Jeff.
Come on over 😍
This is all false. Comp communication isn't supposed to begin until tomorrow. The numbers shouldn't have been available to your comp communicator yet. Strategy did awesome so again false. 20% will get nothing for VC but the only group expected not to get a raise is the director level in the highest salary band. 20% without VC simply did not perform above and beyond their peers. Stop spreading false info, if you're telling the truth go listen to the recorded MC all hands end of year calls email who they tell you to.
I mean everyone at Ey got raises, they may have just been small for some people. Not even a cola for you is straight up wrong
So... SA in strategy named Jeff out of NY ? 👀better watch your back OP
@op 90k isn't too bad out of range. What office or region ?
Not sure you can really call it a "comp call" at this point; here's a stick you can shove up your ass call seems a bit more appropriate
Sounding like EY?
Deloitte did the same for me. Ridiculous
Oh shit
