Received an offer letter with joining date of a week from a date of offer release. No discussion about my joining date previously, though they knew my notice period is 2 months. Now, when asked HR about revising offer letter with updated DOJ he says, first give me LWD Letter. How can I resign before I actually get confirmation of DOJ?
Please suggest. Should I resign and wait for them to send me offer?

Got news that my house closing may have to be moved due to a delay in the sale of my home. My partner’s income was excluded in the DI ratio, but if it were included we’d be well under the % threshold and can be approved to close on time regardless of the sale of my house. However our mortgage company’s underwriting team has been painfully slow in confirming if her income qualifies. She’s been at her new job 1 month after a year off. There is of course a ton out there for patient communications such as patient journey mapping but engaging HCPs is a very different beast.
