Has anyone worked for the Zeno group office in Chicago? If so, how is the culture? I’ve heard that it’s much better than Edelman and other big agencies, but nervous the work life balance is bad. I have been interviewing for a position and so far so good, with the interviewers all saying the culture is fun. Be real with me though…what’s the tea?

Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time.
