Any recs for San francisco/ Las vegas or commuting between the two.

Context: mid twenties male but neither me nor friends know how to drive lol

Hi everyone, I hope this question doesn’t strike as annoying because of its repetition, but I am an LVN, testing for my RN. I just graduated this year and I am looking to move to the San Antonio / or Austin area.

Currently I am in Las Vegas, NV, getting paid in the 30’s ish area (hourly).

I was wondering what the normal base pay for new grad nurses were. I get COL is fair, but I’m considering If its affordable with my student loans near 70k.

How much do estate planning attorneys typically make in NV? Las Vegas specifically if anyone has insight otherwise general insight appreciated. Glassdoor isn’t pulling up any numbers for me and I’m curious if it’s more than what I’m making in ID right now (which is currently $85K).

Hi gang, I’m in digital marketing analytics. Mostly I focus on multi media channels and email campaigns. I’m only a month in a role and being paid 65k+bonus. I live in Las Vegas and have a MBA. The company I work for is a Fortune 500 but I don’t really have any analytic experience prior to my graduation this May so this is my first analytics job. I wonder when would be a good time to ask for a raise. 1 year seems reasonable to me. What do you guys think ?

Looking to move with family ( 2 kids under 4) to a LCOL/MCOL with decent weather. Me and wife both have 100% remote job. Narrowed down to:

1. Las Vegas: proximity to Bay Area, LCOL, outdoor activities but concerned on schooling and negative influence of the strip

2. DFW: No outdoor activities but good job opportunities and schooling

3. Portland(OR): High MCOL, not diverse but decent schools, outdoor activities and close to Seattle for job opportunities

Currently an LVN anticipating to test for my RN by June. I have 7 years experience as an LVN. Will my years as an LVN play a supplemental role while applying or negotiating pay. I’m currently in Las Vegas and the pay is underwhelming. When I had 4 years of exp. Most employers offered me 21-23/hour. Also cost of living has shot up. I recently received a promotion at my job of 9 years as a Billing Manager in Las Vegas Nevada. I looked up average salaries for Billing Managers in Las Vegas and typed up a proposal that I will present in person to my CFO. I have ran the department at the corporate office for 2 years now so I am happy with the promotion but not with the salary they offer. Can I get people to tell me what they see as the average so I know if what I am asking for is a good amount?

For those of you live in states that require job postings to include the salary ranges, what has your experience been with asking and receiving amounts within the range? Is the strategy to ask for the top of the range and let the firm come back with their offer?
I’m looking at a job posting for multiple cities and it lists a range of $132k-253k for Denver and Las Vegas locations. I’m based in San Francisco, so in theory would that put the salary range like $160k-290k?

Planning for a Christmas trip to Las Vegas with family( wife and 4 yr old kid). Any suggestion on family friendly resort with nice amenities but not too loud. We are going there mostly for a trip to a Death Valley, Zion and GC. Don’t want to come back to the room and get frustrated with loud noise or drunk people.
