I recently graduated with a masters degree in Data Analytics from University of Texas at San Antonio with a CGPA of 4.0. I am also awarded distinguished graduate student award for great academic standing and leadership skills. I have worked in india for 3 years for Uber and Amazon as Risk Analyst and quality specialist respectively. I am currently in my F1 OPT and have 30 days left before I submit my offer letter to USCIS. Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Thoughts in general?

I would like to transition into a Clinical Informaticist role here at DFW Region. What is the median salary for this specialty?
Research shows that the top is about 78K annually.
Is this data correct. Bedside nurses appears to earn more.

We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. Is it insulting to give a homeless person leftovers? I passed a homeless guy who asked for money, didn’t have cash on me so I offered my leftover pizza. He took it but people around me gave me looks. So wondering if it’s bad since it could be perceived as giving scraps?

We as a community need to stick together to make the value of SLPs known. When I was just starting in the field for my CFY I was offered $31/hr for a job in an SNF (in 2018).
