I got the offer from HCL... Joining location is Noida they are saying and given in offer letter..but i preferred Bangalore location..I said same with my recruiter but she is not responding and saying first drop paper and let me know ..like that..

Did they change my joining location? Can I drop the paper? Recruiter not replying or picking my call.. only I have is offer letter with Noida location... please help and suggest .. full in confusion to resign...

Probation period: I got one offer at the end of my notice period and was wondering if i can use probation to get one counter offer from someone else.

I think some(most??) Hr might be turned off by the fact that i changed 2 orgs in my 2+ YOE, but due to layoff at my startup i has to get an offer first so i thought i can undersell a bit and get a job fast. I didn't get it fast and so i am now thinking of doing it while on probation.

How long does a TS stay active when you’re not actually using it? I want to go to grad school (overseas) but I want my clearance to be active when I apply for jobs when I’m done. Thanks!

Joined an UMM fund a few months back and things have been pretty lax and we haven’t pursued a new platform yet. I haven’t really got to fully own a workstream yet and instead am more task focused and just do what my VP tells me. It feels a lot different than BCG where it was all about ownership and I’m worried I’m falling behind the learning curve. Any folks have a perspective to share on this?

Trying to apply for another position at the same company but my boss told me explicitly that if they find out people on our team are looking for other jobs, they will stop giving that person raises, promotions, bonuses, & access to opportunities. I have spoken with the hiring manager for the new position and he just asked me if I have notified my current manager. Not sure how to navigate this tricky situation. Was hoping to interview before having to tell my manager that I am applying. Ideas?

Got an interview as a marine superintendent at the port of NY/NJ - their beginning salary isn’t as great as I thought it would be - 60K but they told me after 6 months of employment we get 12K bonuses divided over 12 months. So salary would be $72K. I asked someone who works there and they told me bonuses depends on how the terminal is operating, sometimes its less. Are they being misleading with the salary ? How can I get them to guarantee the bonuses after 6 months of employment ?

What is the range for an Account Director in Orange County, CA? Interested in LA rates as well

Am I being paid competitively? I have been the Onboarding Sup for my HR dept for over a year now and I’m being paid the state min for salary, which for CA is 62,400. I have not gotten a merit raise since the last 2 January’s, the state raises the threshold for salary folks. My company says that was my raise. Is this right? I bring a background from the clinical operations of my company, scheduling, field work, and what the average employee faces. I want to look else where but I’m not sure.
