I work for a midsize Regional law firm and am working on a deal with an AM50 firm on the other side. Normally when I work with larger firms their documents are pristine, but every document I’ve gotten from them (from several different attorneys) is sloppy. Typos, grammatical errors, confusing wording, etc. Anyone else experience this with certain “Big Law” firms? I’m just sort of shocked to keep getting documents from them that look like a 1st year drafted it without anyone reviewing it.

I have no previous experience with sales, but I did really well at first. In my first two months I was at the top of my sales team, and one of the top performers in the national sales org for dials/arr.
I hit a block, and now I can't seem to get passes at all. My effort hasn't changed. But I can't get meetings scheduled.
Has anyone experienced hitting a block like this? How do you overcome it?
Hi everyone, I work for large startup (300 employees) and I have been asked to develop a Progressive HR manual template. Some examples include gender neutral restrooms, lactation rooms, signing off emails with pronouns, and etc. Any tips/links for resources to help would be appreciated.
I need some advice on how to make the switch from Litigation to Transactional law. I’m a first year, started at a small ID firm, and then lateraled to a larger defense lit firm. I love the people but cannot stand civil procedure, depositions, and the fact that you’re at the mercy of the judge or the judge’s clerk. I like being a lawyer; I just need to get out of litigation. Any tips would be great. Looking to network. I’m located in St. Louis, MO. Thanks!

Yesterday I had my last round of interviews with a robotics start-up for a QA Manager position. At the end of the on-site visit the hiring manager told me I was one of the top 2 candidates and that the other individual has a slight experience advantage. He then proceeded to ask me if I would consider a QA engineer job if I do not get the QA Mgr job. I said that we should take it one step and a time before jumping to conclusions. Im running out of characters, continuing on the comments

I have approx 4 years between PwC and Deloitte (federal tax mostly for partnerships) and I’ve finally decided public accounting isn’t for me. The hours are just too much (I have three kids). In essence I need to leave but don’t know where to start looking. Any advice?
