I'm currently on £60k at a start up. Just got offered a job at a games company with a salary of £50k + 15% bonus 😖 I immediately spoke to them and told them that is way below my current salary and they raised to £56k + 15% bonus which would put me on £64.4k total comp. I've said I'll think about it and hope they raise the offer again.
Should I not consider this at all if they don't at least match my base? I have been aiming for £70k-£80k when looking at new jobs

First year: how long without a full ramp up before I should worry? I’m sub-250 hours since I started (3.5 months) and the firm/group are both busy. Other first years in my group are mixed. Okay so, I find myself in a tough situation. Recently, my professional license became jeopardized. There’s many details that I rather not share publicly just incase, but trust me when I say that this was over a ridiculous complaint that wasn’t serious. I have an attorney involved working with me on an appeal, but I’m really nervous and feel that I morally made the right decisions in the situation that I faced. I was wondering: has anyone ever faced a situation like this? I need advice!

Moving to Bay Area from NY, office in Sunnyvale. Good places to find apartments when you dont have a car and can walk down to places to eat, coffee etc. Any insights will be helpful. Thanks!
