I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Thoughts in general?

Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well

Any BCG folks have any insight to the Pymetrics test? Is it used to determine whether I get an interview and is it something I can prepare for before taking?

I understand that in most cases folks with <2 YOE will join with the same title as UG campus hires. How many YOE (or months of experience) will qualify you for a higher pay band (compared to campus hires)?

I got a follow up call on an application for a "Remote" position. Talked to the recruiter and was told they planned a mandatory return to the office in the next year and the position was only "Remote" until then. Has anyone else see this?

Need advice: I want to ask my firm to move me to another office permanently. How do I bring it up? I think my firm will understand and try to move me, but not guaranteed. Need to plan for it well.
