Made it past the 4th and final round of a job interview and was completely ghosted by the company. It happens. But it made me think - is online dating app culture seeping into corporate culture?

At what point in the day do you consider it “after hours” and don’t feel pressured to work/look at emails?
What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.
Anecdotally—just going by posts Im seeing here and twitter, linked in etc—I think this really might be the year the industry starts generally considering awards to be…pick your word…. bullshit/obsolete/useless/paid for/ not worth it/jacked up/a cash grab…like actual younger creatives seem to be seeing it. And theyre the prime audience for awards as a business.
What got you fired or almost fired?
Looking for a startup that can use brand/digital/social/content strategy help working remotely. I am a hardworking, roll-up-my-sleeves kind of strategist with 20 years experience. People tell me I am an ideal combo of analytical and intuitive. Anything leads would be greatly appreciated.

Just had my 3rd interview last Thursday, with my potential AD partner. Haven’t heard anything back since. Should I assume they’ve moved on or is this pretty normal? They rushed me through all the interviews and the first CD gave my book more compliments than Ive had in an interview, so part of me thought it’d be quicker. Dying to find FT now as freelancing for the last year has been rough.
Does anyone have a dashboard or excel template for turnover/attrition where data can be easily “dumped” in for a beautiful display? TIA!
What is the average bonus % for manager level at Deloitte. Specifically London and Consulting.
Hello! I have an inital call with HR coming up for a non-technical program manager role and I’m anticipating the expected total comp question. I’m coming from a non-tech background so I’m not sure what would be reasonable. Not sure what L level this role would be (it’s titled just Program Manager). Role would be in the Bay Area (currently live in DC). I’ve got 10 YOE, mostly in the government (3 in consulting). Any insight would be helpful!
Capital One 🐠, are locations set in stone? That is, would a position located in NYC be able to be performed out of HQ, or would that be a no go? Asking for a friend who's not on FB. Thanks!
Not sure consulting is the best way to spend life in my early 20s but damn, gotta do justice to your future self right? Just feels like i’m spending the best and healthiest years of my life with a screen and 15 Slack pings every 10 minutes. Maybe it’ll get better when things open up.
What’s generally standard among FAANG companies for offer acceptance once one is extended? If anyone has experience with this, is it one week or is it more flexible? I am trying to schedule final onsite with two companies and hoping I can get timing to line up (in the event I am fortunate enough to have offers).
Anybody managed to transfer Long Term Care insurance out of Edward Jones after transitioning? I have found that I can become the agent, but the contract stays at Jones.

Hey Googlers! Considering making a move and am in the interview process with PSO. Role is great but I’m concerned I’ll be asked to give up remote work. Ok with partial travel to clients but I do not want to go into the office to work more than 1-2x per month. How flexible is Google with this?
Does anyone know the process for visiting Shanghai and Hong Kong? I imagine you have to get a tourist Visa? Any details on doing so?
Is it better to apply to M7 with a few yrs work experience at Deloitte or take a risk with a 5 person startup for 1-2 yrs before applying? Background: thinking about joining a high potential startup in my industry of expertise. It’s promising but, as with many startups, has a risk of failure. I eventually want to work my way into the startup space post B-school but the to this would be to stay at Deloitte and go through the MBA sponsorship program.

2nd year associate here. Has anyone made a jump from a boutique firm to big law? I found out that I’m a front runner for a gig with an Amlaw 100. I never thought I’d have this chance having graduated from an unranked law school and still being so junior. Even though the firm asked if I’d be willing to start as a 1st year given my lack of litigation experience, it’s still a monumental upgrade/ jump. I’m nervous about the culture shock and whether I’ll cut it. Could really use some advice!
I really want to get out of internal HR and move in to a consulting / advisory position but when I review the job descriptions for many advisory roles I immediately take myself out of applying because I don’t have the consulting experience required for higher levels. Anyone from a consulting firm have advice on how to get my foot in the door? I have 10+ years of HR experience.
