Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with Clyde and Co’s California offices?

Why are some attorneys better than others? In other words, what makes someone an average attorney that does average work versus someone who brings in the big, newsworthy cases and handles high-stakes matters? Is the latter attorney actually better at the job or better at marketing?

Aside from just time and experience, is there anything I can actively do to advance in my career and get more responsibility / client interaction? I’m a first year

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

Has anyone done a survey for Capvision? I did one on ediscovery vendors that was supposed to pay $100, and now they are asking for bank details to transfer the payment. I’ve done surveys for Newton and they pay by gift card. So I’m a bit hesitant to put in my bank info here—seems like it could be an elaborate phishing scam?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about compensation structure at Allspring, or any opinions on the culture there. I would be in Charlotte.

I am working from EU since last year (internal transfer from India), also doing freelancing for an another startup since last 2 years and the payment is going to Indian account.
My employer assigned a tax consulting company in India to support me in filing tax, somehow the tax consulting firm found that bank account via AIS document (not sure how they get it in that doc), as they found some interest credited for that saving account. Will I be in trouble? will I have to pay penalty :(?
