If I'm offered pre-IPO equity at $x amount based on the last round of funding, and then an IPO values the company at 25% more, is that equity automatically with 25% more or is it not that simple?

Obviously understand that stock value will fluctuate.

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I’m about to give my notice at a firm I’ve been at for the majority of my legal career. They’ve recently offered me non-equity partnership (which I’ve accepted), w equity partnership on the horizon. However, I’ve been annoyed with their way of running the business and getting between me and my earnings far too long; and I received a lucrative offer to go in-house. I recently took up a Customer Success Manger role at a engineering software company. Previously I was a Project Manager at the same company but wanted to move out of my engineering services role.
