After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I joined EY a year ago as a senior and am very fed up with my group. I work on short-term projects with very scrutinized budgets, yet my utilization is supposed to be 100%, so my hours are scrutinized by the teams I work with and leadership. How important is your length of time on a project? I generally jump to a new project if I am not learning anything on the current.

3 weeks of pto left and planning on quitting in two months when my year hits and I get to keep my sign on. Anyway I can just work until three weeks before my year mark and then two weeks beforehand tell my team I’m resigning. Or just ask for week of pto and then work abs then get payout?
