Not reasonable
Deloitte typically hires down- if you are an M in industry- sc in D
Everyone here is right though, we hire down. But that is a good thing. Deloitte as an organization is a pain when joining. But once you learn the lay of the land, life is good.
Hires down and ud be looking at more like 130-150 high end.
Strategy managers at acn start at 160, no mba needed. Try them out
175k is more like senior manager at Deloitte
$175 is reasonable for Manager, but youre not likely going to be able to skip the senior consultant level at Deloitte. If you don't have an MBA, you won't likely get more than $120 as an SC
I'm at 155 as a first year M
Not trying to be arrogant at all. I was an experienced hire, up for promotion at Accenture and was interviewing multiple places. Offer was 150. Received multiple offers. Took a gig back in industry. Less travel. Simple.
If Post MBA that would be reasonable no?
I made $175 as a tech manager at DC. That is a reasonable ask assuming your current salary is in the ballpark
How do you expect to be a manager? If you're a consultant right now? Aiming high is ok, but you should also not stretch yourself too thin just o fail during your first year as manager. Plus Deloitte wouldn't do it!
$175k is almost MBB mgr base...
I'm a second year strategy manager at Accenture with base of 170 - I think 175 is reasonable
I got an offer at Deloitte as a manager from a consultant at Accenture.
And the offer was 150
A3, do tell your story. It is so far outside the norm that I'd love to hear the details. Also, why didn't you take it?
