Hi! I’m looking to collect some salary data for other Director/VP level folks within the PM or Operations field. I am a Director PM with ~10yrs experience & have been with my company for 4 years. For the past year in this role, I have been responsible for running 12-14 accounts simultaneously, ~$60M in revenue, ~185 employees, and my current salary is $150k. I have a query with regards to HRA deduction that we can claim as non taxable.

So in my offer letter, it is written that max 50% of basic salary can be used for house rent.

My basic salary is 7,00,000. So how much deduction can I show for HRA, considering the The Income Tax Act Section 10-13A?

I want to reduce the tax as much as possible through HRA, but I believe there is a limit upto which deductions will be considered.

On applications, what “Reason for leaving” have YOU seen that come across as warnings or red flags? Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some.
